Why This Watch Stands Out
The Tudor Iconaut 20400 stands apart from traditional sports watches by combining two highly useful complications: a chronograph for elapsed-time measurement and a GMT function for tracking a second time zone. This makes it particularly appealing to frequent travelers, aviation enthusiasts, and collectors seeking a feature-rich timepiece.
Its 43mm stainless steel case provides a commanding wrist presence, while the grey dial offers a modern and versatile appearance. The rotating GMT bezel enhances functionality and gives the watch a distinctive technical aesthetic.
As part of Tudor’s earlier professional sports watch lineup, the Iconaut represents a unique chapter in the brand’s history. Compared to more common Tudor models, it offers a less frequently seen design that appeals to collectors looking for something different from the Black Bay or Pelagos collections.

Made from 2008-2014 this oddball of a Tudor is hard to miss. At 43mm this is not a small watch but is not too large and hugs the wrist well. The large bezel has numerals that fill up the bezel and are very easy to see, even for those who might need glasses when reading a book. These numerals are for the GMT function that thanks to those large numerals is one of the easiest to follow of any watch.
The Iconaut also has a chronograph complication with each sub-dial having its own unique size and shape, making this one of the most interesting dials you may ever come across. The inner tachymeter scale gives the chronograph some extra functionality while the 150 meters of water resistance helps to protect everything going on inside even after a dip in the pool.
